Blackened night
Dark veil of gloom
Is there no way out?
I miss him ...

More than 20 months have passed
But it's only now that I feel it :
A complete emptiness inside
I really miss him ...

I cannot cry
Believe me, I've tried
There are no more tears
But I still miss him ...

My emotions are in turmoil
Memories are flooding me
Memories from years ago
And mostly about him ...

I don't hate you, Dad
I never really did
But I never said goodbye
God how I miss you ...
