It's amazing how you remember
The stuff you thought was silly
And how important it all is now
When there's nothing else to hold onto.

You will always be a part of my life
And I know that to bring you back,
All I have to do is light a candle
And put it on my window sill.

You are my light in the window
The light bringing in a new day
Celebrating what is good in life
And a symbol of your love.
